Clinical Lab Review

Schedule a Lab Review

If you’re ordered lab testing through Interior Medicine, you can schedule a Lab Review with me (Meg) here.

Planning Your Visit

I recommend booking a visit about 2 weeks out, to ensure you have enough time to receive your lab kit or schedule a phlebotomy appointment, and for results to come in.

During Your Visit

Lab Reviews last 20 minutes and take place via video through Google Meets, or via phone call if you prefer. You’ll receive a video link to our meeting in your confirmation email.

During your visit, I will answer your questions about your test, and give you recommendations for how to change your home —or keep it the same!— based on what your results tell us. I’m a doctor, but I’m not your doctor, so I treat your home, not your body. I won’t offer medical advice, but if needed, I may be able to recommend doctors in your area for related medical needs.

After Your Visit

After your visit, you’ll receive access to a private, password-protected, personalized webpage here on Interior Medicine with a short summary of recommendations, links to relevant articles, and anything else we cover. Most people like this, but you can choose to opt out of this, if you’d prefer.

Nitty Gritty Details

Labs must be purchased through Interior Medicine to schedule a Lab Review. Please read the Terms of Service for Consultation here for more details.

I had such an empowering experience working with Meg at Interior Medicine. I was able to gain invaluable insight into a lot of aspects of my health and surprising facts about home health that I wouldn’t have been able to find so conveniently outside of her niche practice. She is so practical in terms of helping me understand what to prioritize, rather than tackling everything all at once which would be expensive and overwhelming. One small example: like a lot of people, I have luxury vinyl flooring which unfortunately contains many toxic substances, but rather than simply advising me to have my floors replaced Meg was able to give me a few easy and cost effective tips that will significantly lessen our toxic exposure. Being informed of simple changes like this that can lessen my family’s toxic load is wonderful and brings me so much peace of mind. Meg is a wealth of knowledge about all things home health—from big things like the best ways to test for and/or remediate mold, to smaller but very impactful things like which shower curtains to are the healthiest options. Meg truly cares and is able to offer so many creative tips and tricks for making your home conducive to health. After my appointment, I received a super in depth reference sheet detailing everything we discussed during our meeting, including phone numbers for referrals, products and companies she has vetted, a breakdown of the why behind her suggestions, and so much more. I’ve already referenced it so many times! I’m so grateful to have a resource like Interior Medicine, and I truly believe everyone can benefit from Meg’s services. If you’re considering it, you should reach out to her! I am so sure you’ll leave each meeting with her feeling thankful (both to yourself for taking this step, and to her for offering this) and most of all empowered.
