OEKO TEX Microfiber Duster
This is the only microfiber duster with OEKO TEX certification, made by Norwex. This is great, because the last thing you want when you’re cleaning is to use a cloth made with suspect chemicals. Microfiber is made of polyester and polyamide, two plastic-based fabrics, but because it clings to dust so well when it’s dry, it’s still a safe option when its OEKO TEX certified. Good for hard-to-reach places and blinds.
Organic Cotton Cleaning Cloths
For most household tasks, I recommend wet-dusting with an organic cotton cloth (as opposed to dry-dusting with microfiber). Just a little dampness on these GOTS certified organic cotton cloths from Coyuchi will ensure the dust is captured, rather than pushed around and re-suspended back into the air. GOTS certification means these start organic and are processed organically from start to finish.
