Things they should have taught us in K-12

Ok, I am being dramatic, but I really am consistently shocked by how many preventable lung cancer deaths are caused by radon every year.

The only good thing to come out of the radon problem is that it highlights the all-important intersection of human health and home design. Many new construction homes are now built with passive radon control systems. And, if you have an older home, you can have one installed for a few hundred dollars.

Alright, I’m a little nervous, but off to start my radon test kit. I think you should too!
