This PLA pillow from Naturepedic is made from non-GMO sugarcane. Considered a plant-based bioplastic, it’s similar to polyester, but naturally derived, vegan, and makes a great down alternative. Most Affordable Solid Wood Bed Frame
The NEIDEN bed frame from IKEA is made entirely of solid pine, which is impressive. It’s also unfinished, which is nice from a health perspective. They do use standard glues, so definitely expect off-gassing for several weeks. However, once it off-gasses, this is a far better option than having your mattress on the floor, where it moisture and mold can build up underneath. Better than a bed made of MDF.
