I just recently became a Horse Girl. For me, it didn’t start on the elementary school playground but on Instagram this summer, because of all the English Countryside cottage posts I still can’t get enough of. Now my house is covered in olde tyme horse paintings and gingham, including my bed sheets. Horses are able to sleep standing up, but please remember I’m new to this lifestyle, so Im still lying down at night. Because of this, I’ve chosen non toxic sheets — I have a combination of GOTS certified organic and OEKO TEX certified linen ones. I generally avoid “organic” without any certifications because the fabric processing can be quite chemically intensive. So, next time you’re looking for sheets, I have a fabric guide and list of healthier bedding on my website that I hope is helpful, even if you’re not a Horse Girl!
