A healthy house in Houston

This home was designed for a physician that specializes in thyroid cancer, who knew that having high blood levels of flame retardants —which are found in many couch foams, mattresses, and electronics— is associated with a doubled risk of papillary thyroid cancer.

She hired @brittdesign.group to do healthy interior design and here is why I love it:

◼️It's good design, period, and it happens to be healthy. It’s proof that your house doesn't have to look boring or uncool in the name of safety.

◼️It was featured in Dwell, a really popular interior and architecture magazine, meaning it will raise more awareness about the importance of healthy homes.

◼️I really want that candle holder 😆
